Colin Neville BDS ( Dundee) 1989 Principal Dentist

Colin joined Teviot Dental after qualifying from Dundee University in 1989 and in 2002 he purchased the practice with a clear mandate to provide an outstanding preventive and cosmetic dental service.

His ethos that continual professional development underpins superb results is reflected in his investment in training - his own and that of his team. In 2007 Colin become a training scheme adviser for National Education Scotland. Based at the Edinburgh Dental Institute, he helped run an education course for new dentists up until 2009. From 1999 to 2008 Colin was Dental Practice Adviser to Borders Health Board, a post he relinquished to focus on gaining an MSc degree in Implantology from the University of Warwickshire.

Colin was the first dentist in the Borders to place implants using the recently developed state-of-the-art 3D treatment planning and surgical guide system developed by Nobel Biocare and it is this passion for his craft that has helped him forge the excellent reputation that Teviot Dental now enjoys. Colin recently received a Highly Commended Award at the prestigious UK Smile Award 2010 ceremony held in  London on 28th March.
